Petition ID 5630: Supply crates no longer droppable from map

Post-inventory refresh, when you pick up supply crates from the map, it seems that you can only choose to use them, not discard them on a map square. I don't know if this is deliberate, but I know that some players have historically made a habit of scooping up supply crates and dropping them on outposts to help new players -- did the discard option get accidentally deleted, or was it intentional?
