Petition ID 2989: Hit sequence for Dirty Chippy not working

Was fighting in the jungle outside of New Home. Fought Dirty Chippy and got fail boated because the hit sequence didn't register during the fight (http://www.improbableisland.com/forest.php?op=fight&puzzlecombat_target=2&c=210-185820).
Guard was broken, and the first step in the sequence showed up in the left nav, but when I selected the right target, it didn't cross out and give me the opportunity to try for the second part of the sequence.
I kept fighting, trying to select the first step in the hit sequence, but it wasn't matching the text of the fight in the main window. Chippy was able to use a strong attack, but I never saw that in the left nav, just stayed green. I was KO'd and fail boated, so lost some req and stamina too.
