Petition ID 5466: Newday maintenance pruned entirety of Character Chat

During the Newday which just occurred at 0400 server time, the entirety of Character Chat was pruned (not Player Chat, haven't seen a Story chat affected) up to and including posts made immediately before the Newday. My only guess is that the chat pruning bugged out due to having had such a large backlog (around 614 pages). This is the only instance of this I am aware of.
