The % mark in URLs containing space (%20) breaks the URL (probably goes for other % codes). Pasting things from i.e. Wikipedia (often contains spaces and other stuff like paranthesis) will lead to wrong page. Also, pasting URLs containing & will cut it short at that point, hiding more exact path from being visible. I don't know if it is possible to fix, considering the %(hexcode) bug that can appear in name/title.
