I just bought a Creator Bundle. (Yay!) There's a Land Claim Stake in it. (Yay!)

The Land Claim Stake is still in my Lodge Bag - I have not transferred it (or anything else) to the backpack. (Yay!)

I haven't yet decided what I'm going to do with this stake, let alone where I want it to be. But, all the time I'm wandering on the map, there's this hotkeyed link to "Stake your claim!". I haven't accidentally hit it yet, but I just bet it's going to happen pretty soon! Would it not be better if the stake only brought up this link once it was in the Backpack?

I would have thought, from that, that the stake - ordinarily bought from Suzie's, not the Lodge - should not yet be giving me a "build here" link that could so easily be hit accidentally.
