Petition ID 343: The museum quest vs interesting times

This isn't so much of a bug as an annoyance. I am attempting to finish the cather quest for the newhome museum, but several of the cities have remainded under constant attack for several days now, and my bag is filled with the 3 items I could get. I am stuck with a half filled bag, which is pretty rough at lower levels.
