WHAT: I am not sure if the candy buffs are supposed to work this way, but I noticed that if I Failboat with candybuff and use favor to get off, there seems to be no effect. (I have not checked the numbers carefully, so below speculation may also be applying here.)

However, twice, I Failboated with candy rounds to go, and logged out. When I came back after a natural (i.e. non-Chronosphere) Newday, the candy buffs were gone -- not listed under buffs, and not reflected in attack/defense stats.

I can think of three options:

1) Newday after a Failboat is meant to wipe out these buffs. In this case, the problem is that when I used a Chronosphere (or Favor, within a day) to get a restoration to the mainland, I still kept them.

2) Natural Newday restorations are somehow wiping the candy buff, but not intentionally.

3) This feels unlikely (the second time this happened to me, I had 950+ rounds left), but: Failboat fighting is being counted as rounds towards the end of the candy buff, even though you don't see the benefits. I mention this only because I did sort of shrug and decide to make the best of my Failboat time by accumulating hundreds of Favor points for later, so I might have fought 950 rounds (but I really doubt it).

HOW: Failboat, with remaining candy buff, and let a server Newday restore you to the mainland.
