Petition Details and ChatPetition ID 237: Places: Duplicating doorsSubmitted Sun, 20 Nov 2011 01:12:15 GMT WHAT: I'm delighted to find that setting another door between a pair of already-linked rooms will no longer allow you to waste your materials/stamina/etc if the door already exists (bug reported on the Enquirer, http://enquirer.improbableisland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=25157&lastpost=true#26299 on 13th October). Thank you for fixing that! However, if door 1 has not yet been completed, you can still set another build job to make more identical doors. Probably this is where most mistakes are likely to happen anyway - since the Current Build Jobs page does not list which rooms newly-set doors will be linking, it is very easy to lose track of which ones you have and haven't set. (Especially when you're making a network and a dozen of the rooms are still called Untitled Room because it now takes a deco kit to change a room's name ... but that's another issue.) HOW: In your Place: Create a new build job > New door > Chose two rooms that are not currently linked > Yes create job > Set another build job > New door > Chose the same two rooms > Yes create job It will allow you to set this duplicate. WHERE: Places. WHEN: First noticed today, presumably since Places module went live. Back to the List of Petitions You have to be logged in to chat.
