Ok, not fully sure what lets this happen vs not, so I'll just try to explain what happened for me.

I fought a foebot, hit it with my cat launcher for enough to kill it. Then in the fight it exploded and killed me, but also got that hit back at it and we both were KOed. It showed me having 60 adrenaline and 8000 whatever favor like I have. But, I saw the option to pick myself up, so I tried it. ND happened and then Kage Crest picked me up as well and me once again because I wasn't sure what happened with the lag. And then for good measure and because the option was there again, I picked myself up a third time. Kage showed that I was in his bag, as well as being on the ground in three different spots. I saw myself dead in two different spots. At some point, I think it was still before Kage had left the level but I'm not sure, the Adrenaline and favor messages went away and I then was at full health and the way too overheated thing. It let me move, and so I walked out.
