WHAT: Bios opened in clan halls do not open in a new tab/window as they do elsewhere.
HOW: Go into the clan halls, and choose the "View Membership" link. Click a name at random. Voila, you can no longer be in the island, as you are now trapped in a bio.

(Note, really any bio works, I simply used my own)
WHEN: Quite a long time, not sure exactly how long exactly. My best guess is since the revamping of bios before Places went into effect.
