Petition ID 1018: Online/Typing Indicators Seem Broke

The indicators to the left of a player's name show as green, whether or not a person is in the same area as you, as long as they are online.
Also, when someone types in Global Banter, any area they may have posted in Story before shows them typing in that channel, too, even if they're not in that area anymore.
However, the opposite is not true: If you type in Story, the indicator does not turn white. It only turns white when you type in Banter.
I'm in Plesantville, and noticed the nearby-issue in a place and the Clan Halls, too, when I logged in around 6:45pm Central Time.
